I have come to alter the decision on this point.
7 It may, however, be doubtful whether Your Lordship intended that costs recovered in such cases as Mr. Goodman alludes to should be regarded as fees payable to the Attorney General in virtue of his office, and it may be that inasmuch as he receives as Admiralty Advocate, a commission distinct from his appointment as Attorney General, Your Lordship will agree that he may retain the fees received in such capacity.
8. Pending Your Lordship's decision in the matter I will give directions for an account to be kept of any costs or fees that Mr. Goodman may receive for the purposes above mentioned, so that the same may be refunded to him.
